Future Days Fund: The Arthur Project
As recommended by Ten Club member Deena H., The Arthur Project (TAP) is the January ‘26 recipient of the $2,500 grant! Currently based in the Bronx and Brooklyn, TAP is a therapeutic mentoring program designed to support middle school youth and their caregivers in underserved communities. TAP aims to increase academic performance, social-emotional skills, and mental well-being, all critical in an often overlooked age group.
Deena H. shares… “My best friend and co-founder, Dr. Jessica C. Greenawalt, encouraged me to get involved from the onset since providing equal access and opportunities to all has been a priority to us both in our adult lives. I am privileged to serve on the board of this incredible organization to support making a difference in the lives of the incredible young people we serve.
As we look to expand nationally, creating increased awareness about the work TAP does is more important than ever-every child should have the opportunity to reach their full potential, especially those who don’t readily have access and by supporting our vulnerable youth, we can ensure that they know they are seen, heard, and valued!”
