A few interesting things in Indiana politics recently.

First...a few days ago the 24 year old son of a mega-church pastor was arrested for child porn. Reports are that there is some pretty sick stuff discovered that might include video of his parents having sex, etc. 

This mega church as several locations in central Indiana...Pendleton (where the arrest was made), Noblesville, Fishers, etc. The perp was the son of the pastor for the Pendleton location.

That pastor did a lot of joint videos with Indiana's Lt Gov Micah Beckwith who is the pastor at the Noblesville church. Some of these videos related to keeping an eye on your kids, making sure they don't have too much time online, etc. 

Then this story breaks....

Really weird shit going on right now.

Beckwith had attempted a run for Congress but was unable to primary Victoria Spartz. When that bid failed he got on the library board for Hamilton Southeastern and made news by banning books, etc.

He surprisingly won the race for Lt Gov (he beat the candidate that Mike Braun and trump had endorsed) by rallying the church crowds across the state.

Now this.....

and guess what?....Beckwith is referring to this as a "witch hunt"

Beckwith defended his staffers, saying "he was certain they would never look at pornography in their statehouse office." However, a news report at the time said the staffers said "that Beckwith had seen the video and laughed at it as well." Another former staffer told reporters the atmosphere inside Beckwith's office was a “frat house” and “very immature.”
Meanwhile, "the grand jury’s report is the first mention of allegations of ghost employment within Beckwith’s office," said the report. "Ghost employment is most often used as a term for payroll fraud. A public servant can also be charged with ghost employment as a Level 6 felony for assigning employees duties not related to their government position."
Asked for comment on the new reporting, Beckwith's office provided the statement, “Active grand juries are confidential; therefore, the office has no knowledge of any of this.”

That's pretty much all he needs to do. If someone on that side claims it, then it is taken as gold. This is, after all, Indiana.
