What once was, has felt a bit strange 

Momentum halted  into inertia 

Heart bruised but stronger than ever 

Cerebral reaction would have been more clever

Visions of stars falling from the sky 

Bursting into flames before they die 

Hoping to catch some remnants 

Ignite a combustion to help us navigate a way out

Recalculating the coarse to calmer waters 

The moon offering companionship 

The tide lifting our vulnerabilities 

Fighting against all odds 

Circumstantial upheaval forcing desolation 

Intellect analyzing each particle 

Molecules bonded by mutual admiration 

Harmony sought after the supernova 

Universe  was under construction 

No one wins in mutually assured destruction
