Just opening the door…these lyrics have been tattooed on my foot for more than 15 years and meant something to me longer than that. Like all good lyrics it holds many meanings and changes over time. There are references to doors/opening doors in subsequent songs that I think it must hold weight for others also. Just throwing it out there into the void now, maybe to see what or if it means anything to anyone else. Or maybe to just release some of the weight…idk :)
