McCready Fringe

I don't usually post but wanted to share what happened last night.  My husband's "comfort animal" is a Ragdoll cat.  The cat is 14 yo and he's probably on his last of his 9 lives, about to join his friends in the other world.  It's been a hard few days, our lives have been really sad, and we've been watching Fringe.  Unbeknownst to me we were watching the episode that Mike composed the music for.  We were crying at the end of the episode and I stopped the computer so we could catch a breath.  It took a minute to realize the screen was frozen on the name Mike McCready.  Seeing Mike's name as "Guest Composer" suddenly made me laugh.  Seems that whenever things get dark for my family, up pops something positive.  He won't read this, but thank you, Mike McCready, for being that "something positive".  We were reminded that there is still beauty in the world.  It was extra special for it to be Mike this time because my husband is a former professional musician, who has severe Crohn's and can't work anymore.  This may not mean anything to anyone, but I felt I needed to put this out in to the universe as a thank you, Mike, for being you.
