If right were so easy , the latter would always be left behind 

Discarded as the time you took for granted 

Believing you could outsmart yourself 

The check always comes , regardless of the price you”ve paid to your own standards 

Relentlessly pursuing solution

  to ease the  tension you stepped into 

Knowing yourself, naive to outside impurities 

Afraid to ask, subconsciously aware of others journey to this place 

Paths aren’t  easily traveled 

Never straight, narrow as the uncultivated mind 

No short cuts, only depth can reveal a clearing
