The Graph Tech saddles I put on my old Epi LP were a lifesaver... coupling them with a purpose-built TonePros bridge is stupid obvious. Any of you LP owners would be well advised to look into this... makes me wish I had a T-o-M bridge to replace.
...and if you don't like it, you can suck on an egg.

I have the tone pro locking studs on my Martin electric. It has the Quan Badass bridge on it, and I never like the way they leaned forward and depended on the screws for the connection to the body.
They made a WORLD of difference!

I bet those Graphtechs will be great. Now all they gotta do is put the Graphtech saddle pickup in there and you can REALLY complicate things! :D

Thats such a cool idea, and of course obvious.

    i feel i've been MIA for a while ...

nice ... more sustain, do what ???
who could possibly pass that up.

    here's a question,
would combining the aforementioned saddle with this bridge be a viable\smart option for an LP --

    ?

fine-tune tails are fun ... is there a better one out there for an LP though? i have had really good experience with schaller in the past ....

it looks good, but i can't tell if the posts would fit an LP or not ...
i guess i could use the TP-6, but damn is it ugly ... i frankly trust schaller a lot more than any part labeled as "gibson" these days.

    thoughts?
If I was to smile and I held out my hand
If I opened it now would you not understand?

Tone pros helps with tuning stability and the graph tech saddles (made of graphite) reduce friction and sharp edges reducing string breakage dramitically as well as being electrically grounded. Schaller makes great stuff, as does Tonepros.

so you're saying i could go with either the TP6 or schaller tailpiece?

would you know if that schaller actually is ment for an LP... i'm just concerned that it is not a seperate bar with posts, but all one piece instead.

it shouldn't matter though, as long as the dimensions are right, i guess.

again, i'm not a gear pro.

It depends on the dimensions correct. You just have to make sure you can match the bridge with the studs and the tailpiece. It depends on the bridge you match it up with really.

check out http://www.tonepros.com I'm sure they have an adjustable TP to go with that new bridge.
