Is the new forum format permanent, or just an update in progress?

It takes up WAY too much room, so that you only see a few topic entries at a time.

Yesterday's format was much easier to navigate the info quickly.

I hope it gets put back to the familiar form soon.
Thanks

Yep, nail in the coffin for me if this endless scrolling sticks around.

Get used to a sub standard format.  If the old board was vinyl this board is highly compressed low but rate streaming.

This format is horrible. Not user friendly at all.

3.2 visible topics at a single time while 32 topics are available on the page.

It's like having 1,000% zoom on your web browser.

I do like the ability to expand the size of the post, to see small details better. But this is not worth all the other inconvenient aspects.

This can’t be permanent. I would happily take the old set up over this. Too big.

I expected there to some user settings to adjust Look and Feel, but I can't find anything. This is awful for me.

Maybe but it’s still a bad design. The spacing makes it cumbersome to navigate and read. They removed the quick navigation bar from the bottom so you have to go to your profile to see bookmarked topics or scroll to the absolute bottom of a thread (not the main topics) to get to the links. If they needed to migrate the platform there are better options. Hopefully this is just a beta test and we are all Q/A tester because they didn’t want to have a proper team do it. It’s just harder to do anything.

I don't necessarily mind the layout, but the scrolling is so annoying. If there was a way to collapse the discussion threads so all you see is the title, and not the first post, that would be great. I know some discussion forums I have been on have a way to collapse or expands threads. Maybe, they can offer that feature.

I also don't like that you can't see the last person that posted to the thread anymore without opening it (unless I am missing something).

I don't know if that would condense the text enough to make it convenient again, but it would certainly be an improvement.

If Matt was still around, this wouldn't have happened.

I find if I set my zoom level to 75% it works a lot better. I’m getting used it, need to change my muscle memory of knowing exactly where to click when the page loads but that’ll happen quick enough

    Might be why he left.
