as a strat player, I view this development as really freaking cool.
My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

    hot damn! I sure wish I had $260 bucks lying around. With that and a good pickup upgrade ($150) I could breathe some new life into my guitar. Too bad I'm on the amp hunt first.

    Yes, it's a very cool idea - I originally heard about this last year from Scott Henderson when I was in LA doing some session work. Scott plays Suhr Guitars (Scott and I both went to Florida Atlantic University, but he left long before I went there - he was actually my Jazz Instructors Instructor - talk about a great player). Vital Tech Tones - Scott Henderson, Victor Wooten and Steve Smith - they're the shit.
