Just received a handful of CDs in the mail from Gyasi - a relative newcomer who (as you can tell by his photo) is enthralled and heavily influenced
by '70s' "glam rock", like Bowie, T.Rex etc.
Interestingly enough, Gyasi (reportedly his real name) was born in West Virginia, and now calls Nashville home.
So far, I like the first CD very much and will get to the rest of them today.
But, what is most exciting to me about Gyasi is that he was chosen to play lead guitar on the Alice Cooper Group's brand new album: "The Revenge of Alice Cooper"!
To fill the boots of original Alice Cooper lead guiatrist Glen Buxton (who passed away in 1997) is a tall order, so I'm anxious to receive my copies of
"The Revenge of Alice Cooper" any day now to see how Gyasi fit in. I have high expectations that he did quite well!

Well, I listened to all of Gyasi's CDs today, multiple times each, and the consensus is in. He kicks a**!0
