Setting price controls (maximum ticket prices ) has never worked. It creates immediate value and incentive for scalpers. Tech has never been able to keep up.

Ask Taylor how it worked out when she set a max price of $499. Fans might be familiar with the bot fiasco, but not why it occurred. Setting an artificial max price immediately gave scalpers a multi billion dollar incentive to unleash new tech from a million different directions.

Implementing block chain may be the answer, but that may reduce demand as well, and fans not willing to do that would be just as frustrated. And scalpers may adapt to that anyway.

Bring back hard tickets & will call.

The same amount of money being spent on the workforce to maintain the current system could be spent on hourly wages.

And bring back Jell-O Pudding Pops. Sans Cosby.
