After the disappointment release of the 2026 Dave Matthews Band summer tour, I sure hope PJ announces US tour dates soon
Funny how DMB gets a tour together every year like clockwork with tons of dates. Not to mention how many people they have on stage. No doubt they are all in on touring
Just so you know some of those dates like The Gorge and Fiddlers Green are held 2-3 years in advance and are the same (give or take a day or 2) every year.

In other words the framework of the annual summer tour is in place each year and 2-3 years in advance.

The pop acts are notorious for this. I figure it's because a "flavor of the year" might have lost some of their popularity several months later.

October: "Such pop artist is going on tour next summer! The presale starts tomorrow using code ALBUM_NAME or SUMMER_TOUR" or some equally-generic code.

Pearl Jam has usually been the opposite. Tour announcements are generally in the few months before, not the few seasons before.
A lot of the sheds hold multiple dates for regular touring bands year after year.
Red Rocks used to let bands hold dates for 4 or 5 years. Now it's a strict 2 year rotation.
That's why you see the same  bands on the same  weekend year after year.
Bands like Avett bros, Widespread, Jason Isbell play the same weekend year after year at Red Rocks.
Blues Traveler always plays July 4th. Etc etc

Dave Matthews + Labor Day = The Gorge

It would be surprising, although admittedly not shocking, if the only PJ related shows this year were a small scattering of EV dates in Japan and his annual Ohana appearance.

I'm surprised we haven't had someone's side project yet, although HockeyTalkter seems to be the hot new thing. While not a band, it's technically a side project.

I won't have a PJ show to attend then, so I am probably going to be there with my Rita Hayworth and a bottle of suds.

Just the Rita Hayworth poster or a photo the Rita Hayworth poster at the DMB show? Details matter!

Either one… as long as you frame the DMB set list with it!

I'd really love for them to come back to Kansas City - it's been way too long. Play Arrowhead or Kauffman before they move. There's a new amphitheater opening that is bringing in quite a few acts (GnR, Rod Stewart, Skynyrd, Black Crowes, DMB). I don't know, it feels like KC is skipped more often than not unless it's a country artist.

Would love to see them hit up the new Amphitheater opening in Shakopee, MN this summer. Have tickets already to see Goo Goo Dolls, John Mellencamp and GnR there this year. Venue looks gorgeous, if its similar to the pictures.

So I'm backing out the door, right, and I got the TV, like this; it was a big old thing, I couldn't see shit; suddenly I hear this voice, "Police, kid, hands in the air." You know, I was standing there, holdin' on to that TV, so finally the voice says, "You hear what I said, boy?" And I say, "Yes sir, I sure did, but if I drop this fucking thing you got me on destruction of property too.”
