That's right! The original Alice Cooper group (minus Glen Buxton, who passed away in 1996, sadly) is back with their great new album entitled "The Revenge of Alice Cooper"!
It's being released on July 25th, 2025 and there are still plenty of interesting variants of the album (colored 2-LP vinyl, CD box set with t-shirt etc.) available for pre-order! It's killer!

Yes! That's right! Alice Cooper's first album of ALL NEW material in more than 50 years! And, it's with their original producer, Bob Ezrin!
You youngsters at home may remember Alice Cooper's great FM radio hits such as "Eighteen", "School's Out", "Elected", "Under My Wheels", "Billion Dollar Babies" and so many more! Ask Mom to order "The Revenge of Alice Cooper" for you NOW!  :)

My friend is the one who originally got them back together a decade or so ago. I saw them play in his record store to a couple hundred people. Alice showing up was a surprise for those in attendance but I had been given strong indications that he would so I made sure I was there. Helped get Alice to his car afterwards and my friend had my name included in the thank you section when they released a 45 of two songs from that performance. Thrill of a lifetime for me.

Man - a "thrill of a lifetime" for sure! I take it your friend is Chris Penn of Good Records in Dallas?
I've heard about this concert before but have never talked to someone who was actually there.
You even got a credit on the record package - how effin' cool is that!
I do remember seeing the two-7" record sets for sale on Record Store Day in 2016 (concert was in Oct. '15) and some copies were signed by the four remaining Alice Cooper group members but, I missed out on those.

Luckily though, I've pre-ordered every variant of the all-new Alice Cooper group album coming out later this month and was able to get one of the double LP albums pressed on "violet marble" vinyl that includes a large insert signed by the four band members, so that'll do!

Thanks for sharing your cool story!

Yes, indeed. He tragically passed away a few months ago and I still miss him terribly. He was a sweetheart of a human being. He fulfilled a lifelong dream for me and I will forever be grateful. I have the translucent pink version (thanks to CP), pink, and white. The split pink/white is stupid expensive and the regular black vinyl never comes up for sale. Chris told me once that unintentionally became one of the more rare versions because they made more of the color variants.

Yay! The Alice Cooper Group is back!!! This photo is from this past weekend in London - it looks magical!!!
Their new album "The Revenge of Alice Cooper" has been released and is shipping now - I'm awaiting 4 or 5 packages!
To put this excitement in context - just picture Pearl Jam 15 years from now - still rockin' n' rollin' and having fun!
I could see Eddie in a top hat like that, too, though probably in black...

Well, I'm finally able to give the brand new Alice Cooper Group album, "The Revenge of Alice Cooper", a good, serious listen and it is very good!
Interestingly, the three singles they've released over the past weeks are not the strongest songs on the album.
I really like "Blood On The Sun", "Money Screams" and "Famous Face" a lot.
Young guitar wizard, Gyasi, fits in very well on lead guitar though no one can replace the late Glen Buxton!
If you're a fan of 70s' rock, give it a try on YouTube and if you like it  -buy it! Thanx.
