So after putting it off for couple of years I finally decided to go see Billy Joel live, got tickets for Toronto for March’25. Less than a week before show got postponed for a year. Now the tour has been canceled for obvious reasons that came out today. Any one else here a fan and how good was he live? Hoping he gets medical treatment and makes a full recovery.

    The only time I saw Billy Joel was with Elton John on the "Face To Face" tour in Little Rock in 1995. Amazing show!

    I saw 4 of his MSG shows, and one at Nassau on New Years Eve… always a great night by a true pro… he lives only 12 miles or so from me on the North Shore of Long Island.. I have seen him a bunch at various restaurants and other places.. always very nice. Pic of him & Ed from a few years ago was cool to see.. always wanted Ed to sing one with him.

    I saw him in Milwaukee in 2019 at Miller Park. It was a great show. I skipped Tom Petty’s last tour thinking “I’ll catch him next time”. Since then I’ve told myself I’ll never miss a show of my favorites if they are nearby. Was planing on seeing Billy Joel this summer in Pittsburgh. This kinda drives home my point. Hope he gets well and we all get to see him perform again.

    I saw him last year in Denver. Great show, he can't hit some of those high notes anymore, but overall was a great experience.

    It's in our blood as NYers to like Joel.  Buddy of mine worked for him for a few years.  Said he was a cool guy.

    Sorry never saw this post.  Saw Billy a few times in the 80's then saw his 99 show at the Garden in Feb 2024.  it's hit after hit after hit and soo good live.  If you know the songs and get a chance to see him if/when he comes back definitely check it out. really good stuff.

    and can't wait to see the HBO doc.

    Looking forward to the doc! HBO really does a great job with their documentaries. 

    Saw him 20 years ago @ Carrier Dome in Syracuse when I was in college - and put on an amazing show.

    Part 1 of the doc was way too long IMO Part 2 should be a lot better.
