What was the best show of the Dark Matter Tour?
Options
I've scrolled through many setlist and fanview threads, and read so many stories from shows on this tour, and while some complain of lack of different tracks night to night in setlists, the quality of show and band performance still receives heavy praise (as is well deserved for this tour, the band sounded and performed phenomenally).
To the people who saw multiple shows, which did you think was the best? Which show stood out the most, and why did it stand out? Whether a great setlist or a great crowd, why would you pick it as the best?
My personal ranking:
1. philly 1
2. atlanta 2
3. philly 2

For me personally, it was Pittsburgh N1 - it's not just the Grievance incident, but the whole vibe, the setlist, the band's energy, the crowd.
N2 comes as a very close second. Homage to Chris which broke my heart; Insignificance.
Both of them were shows for the ages.#Grievance20250 -
Of the 20 Dark Matter shows I attended myself my favourite was Philly 1. Great setlist, probably the best of the whole tour; the crowd energy was incredible and the band just ate it up.
Honourable mention to the Barcelona shows, the crowd energy there is unbelievable and it's so hard to pick a favourite between the two as both were great for different reasons; night 1 was coming back off the sickness enforced break which caused London and Berlin to be cancelled, there was a palpable relief that the show was happening at all, but then the band brought it and demonstrated how frustrated they'd felt being cooped up in their hotels for the enforced break. Night 2 was not sold out and half the venue was closed off, but it felt like a club show and was just sweat, energy and passion, and was so much fun.
Of this years shows I'm currently giving the slight edge to Pittsburgh 1, but that may change once I've fully decompressed and had a chance to re-listen to the boots.Post edited by stones on0 -
I went to five shows and I would say:

I went to just 3 (Indy, Chi 2, Piit 2). Pitt 2 was by far my favorite of the 3.0

From the 13 shows I went on DM tour 24/25 my top 5 are:
1. Philly 1
2. Vegas 1
3. LA 1

They all kind of blend together to be honest more so than any tour I have ever gone on. For me probably Philly 1 is the one I wish I went to but did not and Raleigh 1 is the one I went to and most glad that I did.0

Those Barcelona crowds were the best I’ve been part of for Pearl Jam. Incredible experiences, hope we get to do it again soon!'F*** the pessimists. F*** 'em.' Eddie Vedder0

This will change over time. Of the shows I went to, right now...
Pitt 2
Fenway 2
Pitt 1
Fenway 1
These Pittsburgh shows felt special in the room. Particularly the encore on N2.
Also, there was no Camden 2022 in 24/25. No setlist blew me away to the point I kicked myself for not going.
