Eddie Votter the Otter requests "Love Reign o(tt)'er Me" for his 25th show in Pittsburgh!

Hi Everyone! My name's Eddie Votter the Otter! I'm a little stuffed otter that travels around in my parents' assorted bags and pockets whenever they take me to see my absolute favorite band in the whole wide world: Pearl Jam! (or, as I sometimes like to call them: Pearl Clam!—y'know, after my favorite clam, which I always have with me on my little otter belly). Maybe you've seen me around!

Here's me at my first ever Pearl Jam concert! (Some guy thought I was a woodchuck, but he didn't seem to know much about animals—and he smelled funny, kind of like a skunk.)

That was the first of two Philly shows in 2016! The next night, the band played all of Ten, which is my favorite album of theirs because of all the aquatic themed song titles: you obviously have "Deep" and "Oceans"—but you can't forget about "Once (I Lost My Clam and it was Scary)", "Even Flow (of Water)", "Alive (Unlike My Cousin, Who was Eaten by a Shark)", "Why Go (into the Sea? Because it's Fun!)", "Black (Like the Hadalpelagic Zone)", "Jeremy (This Awesome Seal I Know)", "Porch (That Jackass Perch I Hate)", "Garden (of Seaweed)", and "Release (My Clam? I Can't! It's Sewed On!)"

I've seen a lot of shows since those first two—and I've had some pretty great pictures of me taken over the years!

But my all time favorite picture of me is from when I was so close to my namesake I almost touched him!!! That was in Chicago in 2018!

 

I'll be seeing my 25th PJ show in Pittsburgh—my parents were nice enough to get me GA for both nights! And what would really make the whole experience truly spectacular is if the band played my favorite otter themed Pearl Jam song: "Love Reign o(tt)'er Me!" They haven't played the song since I've been going to concerts—I'm a young little otter after, all. And even my parents haven't seen the song live, and they've been going to shows since before I was born! If PJ played it, then I'll be able tell my mother it's a belated Mothers Day present from me and the band! She's so nice, taking me to all these shows—I think she deserves a special little otter-themed treat!

Last night was so much fun! Do you know what would also be fun? That's right! It would be absolutely swimming if the band played "Love Reign O'er Me" at one of the Pittsburgh gigs!
