Ignore that tantrum. There was nothing wrong with the final song.

I’ll give it a shot since I was woken up early lol:

Perfect start to the week in Nashville. The weather was perfect and there was a general buzz and excitement in the air. The merch and GA lines were energized and in great spirits!

Indifference opening surprised me which I took as a sign the rest of the night will as well and indeed it did. I really enjoyed the ebb and flow of the setlist, felt like we were lifting all night long. I thought Brain of J into Green Disease sounded polished and brought me right back to a show at a venue on tour 20 years ago somewhere. I thought  Come Back was a highlight and Ed pulled it off. My 2nd Got To Give and I enjoyed this one most. I’m biased for DTE at the encore so I was pleased and it was an energetic take too. Unfortunate a person went down during Setting Sun but once he was fine I was pleased the band restarted it from the top - always a rousing performance! Watchtower surprised me as well and thought it was fun!

Glad to be here in Nashville.

Waited 19 years to see Come Back live, was a very emotional moment.

Great night and a great setlist. There were some really drunk guys at the back of GA who were a bit annoying, but otherwise all good. My fist time seeing PJ in the US, and what a city Nashville is!

    Another great show.

This was my 3rd of the 4 run Atlanta/Nashville and what I'm loving the most about this tour is not just how their doing the typical weaving in of rare gems with the new stuff and classics, but how they're moving things around.   I mean - Indifference as a closer Atlanta I then as an opener for Nash I?  Insane.  Given to Fly, Cordoroy and Wreckage pushed back in the set a few songs.  Evolution in the Encore, then early in set w/o video then back to the encore.

They always make every show different, but this is like a whole other level of freedom they're expressing on this tour (Did I mention Indifference as both a closer and opener in the span of 3 shows?!  Wild).

Oh - and while I like Gigaton as an album better, the Dark Matter songs definitely play better live than I'd say any of their last 4 albums (not necessarily individual songs, but in its entirety).  So, now Waiting for Stevie and Something Special on Thursday, please!
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.

After the show I have more appreciation for the Dark Matter album which I guess is the point. I'll post more later when I'm near a laptop. The concert was emotionally expansive.

Sometimes you go to a show, and you're consciously aware that you're just not feeling it quite as much as you have at other shows in the past. But sometimes you go, and you're just in the zone, feeling every moment...even the songs that you're sick of because they play them almost every fucking show. That's what it was like for me last night. I had a blast.

I got Brain of J and Green Disease. And even though I'm not a fan, Got To Give, which finally completed Dark Matter for me. The Watchtower closer was a nice surprise too.

However, I will say, even though I do like Come Back, that was one of the worst setlist placements I've ever seen. Really killed the vibe in the room.

This show was high octane, high energy. My wife and I had a blast. Another Evenflow, but during Mike's solo, I just kept thinking, "I can't get enough of these guys!". Looking forward to night 2. Not sure if they can match the energy they brought N1. Ed sounded fantastic btw.

Show was awesome—vibes felt great from the jump. Got to Give to complete Dark Matter was awesome, and Brain of J into Green Disease into a killer Jeremy was stellar. Crazy that someone had to wait 19 years for Come Back—seen 5 of the last 10 lol. Great song though!

I loved Come Back, but it was very very odd not to have another song before Porch.
It took me a minute to get into Porch. Hard to ramp back up when you’re thinking about lost loved ones.
Absolutely an amazing show. No complaints. Brain Of J into Green Disease was fantastic. And any show you get Porch AND RVM is a win! Loved that Eddie was playing it again, because wasn’t Josh playing a lot of his parts in the song as of late?
Just another observation, I usually don’t mind Ed’s stories, as they usually have a great ending or a point behind it. Really just seemed to be rambling about nothing.

10/10. Would recommend. 2 thumbs up
