I've been hoping to hear "Watchtower" for awhile now. It's been crossed off the setlist at multiple shows I've attended. Happy for the people who got it yesterday!
Not if you heard it. Nice to cross off, but poorly executed.

I just don’t think they do an interesting version of it. Saw it at Ohana and it was like… what’s the point.

Totally agree. Their version feels neutered- they don’t take anywhere interesting.
"What can you expect when you're on top? You know? It's like Napoleon. When he was the king, you know, people were just constantly trying to conquer him, you know, in the Roman Empire. So, it's history repeating itself all over again."

That's what I think about them doing Sonic Reducer. Watchtower is alright. Only heard yesterday's version via stream, but I like when it's angry Ed (San Francisco 06, Budapest 22), Seattle last year was a bit lacklustre. Felt like big band version of All Along the Watchtower

There has already been an unsurpassable cover of "All Along the Watchtower," and it was by Jimi Hendrix.
I gather speed from you fucking with me.
