How do you cope with the post show blues?

I've been fortunate to be able to see PJ three times in a week, 3 times (2013, 2021, 2022 - Southern CA shows), but it sure would be nice to be able to be one of the lucky ones who can follow them for at least a whole 'mini' tour, like their 11 shows this year for example.

But since that will likely never happen (unless PJ is touring when they're in their 80s and I'm retired in my 70s and can follow them), one of the ways I deal with the disappointment of not being able to attend more is to track setlists and show reviews on here religiously.  It helps tremendously.

This year I stepped my post show blues coping game up and finally put my entire bootleg collection on my iPhone (it used to be on my iPod Classic).  I've got PJ in my ears (or head when I'm not actually listening) 24/7 for weeks!

My bootleg rules/collection is one show from every calendar year, including all the shows I attended, as well as special shows like Benaroya Hall (acoustic), and the 6* full album shows (meaning in some years I have 2 or 3 shows). *There are two Ten shows so I chose 2016 over 1992.  I know there are other special shows like the Mansfield trifecta or the chronological Holmdel show, but to me, less is more so I chose to delete those MP3's.

After every calendar year, if I didn't attend a show I will use my free bootleg code for the show that includes the most songs from the 12 studio albums and Lost Dogs that I don't have in a full show yet.  For 2024 I went with the Ohana show strictly to get The Whale Song and Waiting For Stevie (a damn shame it wasn't played in FL this year!).

So while my pre show routine is listening to all the studio albums in order, this year my post show routine will include listening to my entire bootleg collection in reverse order.  It helps!!!

Am I crazier than most on this board to spend so much time on this stuff (I won't even get into my spreadsheet!)???

Have fun in Nashville, Raleigh, and Pittsburgh all!

I dragged them over from my digital collection on my laptop (also have a backup external drive) to iTunes and they go onto my Apple Music library in my plugged in phone.

MP3's only.  I'm not paying extra to PJ for flac, etc.

I'm still old school...I like to 'own' all of my music via previous purchases or downloads.  I don't to streaming playlists.
