My 23rd show and it was as good as expected. Great energy from the crowd and sound was so good on the floor next to the mixing booth. Getting Leash and Yesterdays again was a blessing. Thanks again to 10c for great seats. This band might be the only thing keeping me going in this awful world. Thank you for a night of pure joy. I needed it. Can’t wait to do it again, hopefully in the not too distant future. 💜✌🏽

The crowd was good on Tuesday but Thursday was a whole other level. Was near the top of 121 and almost everybody in the section was having a great time grooving and singing along. You could tell the beer was flowing but nobody was obnoxious or falling down. I was in the crowd as a single ticket so a huge shout out to the couple to my right (from 3 hours south of Atlanta), the 3 ladies to my left (with an extra empty seat - thanks!), and the row of dudes behind me. You all rock. Was awesome to spend the evening with all of you.
While I personally would love a set of nothing but obscure songs and b-sides, Thursday's set was EXACTLY what was needed for this area of the country/market (meaning the new albums are not as well known as the earlier albums) and that crowd/band dynamic that was created because of the set easily made this a top-10 show for me. Excluding the Dark Matter songs, the entire show consisted of barn burners mixed with the more emotional slow songs from their earlier catalog. They had the crowd in the palm of their hand!
Looking forward to a couple hometown shows in Raleigh with my son. Until then, everybody be good and stay safe!
PS - also a shout out to the two guys from Arkansas we ended up hanging with in the merch line both days and the guy from Poland from Tuesday's merch line. Rock on!

Was fortunate enough to go to both shows and I echo everything being said. The thing that stands out the most, and what has been mentioned almost every time, is how amazing the crowds were both nights. Just incredible experiences.
I still don’t have the energy for a review but the coolest part about these shows was how each show got progressively better. Atlanta blew away Florida. I am so happy to end on the highest note possible until Pittsburgh. That was the most fun I’ve had at a PJ show ever, and it was because of the group I was with Stone’s side in the pit 3-4 rows away. My group knew RVM was coming before it did and we started going crazy before Ed even hit a note on his guitar. Then probably the loudest TROUBLED SOULS UNITE I’ve ever heard. Ed acknowledged us the whole night and it meant the world. Dissident and Hail Hail were my other two major highlights. Hail Hail came out of no where.
Philly 1 still takes the cake for best show post-covid, but last night was right there. In two nights: Can’t Keep, Nothingman, Unthought, In Hiding, NFY, Severed Hand, Inside Job, STBC, Indifference, Present Tense, Immortality, Dissident, Yesterdays, Hail Hail, Off He Goes, RVM…..pretty damn good for 2025.
I guess I did have the energy, that’s the review.

Someone said it somewhere else but while this show was happening I was thinking this feels just like Philly 2.
somehow I was able to wrap this trip around a work trip which is like the ultimate.
Both shows were incredible. Both set lists were fantastic. The band sounded as good or better than they did last year. Being honest I didn’t have high hope for the crowd for whatever reason fair or not. But both nights and especially last night the crowd was incredible. Ed felt it. The band felt it. The whole vibe of the building was off the charts.
Atlanta is such a great city. They need to come back soon. I’ll be there.

Present Tense opener was a huge surprise, and it totally delivers as the first song, the tension of the hard ending kind of lingering in the air during the first half of the song.
I'm pretty sure I was having an out of body experience after Immortality / Dissident combo through Yesterdays and Hail, Hail.
And there's nothing better than late set Leash. That song took the roof off the building with the energy from the band and the crowd. Still on a remarkable high.
Loved this show. Had rail in front of Jeff this time and fully experienced the incredible Mike McCready. At one point Mike came down on the floor in front of us and I fan girled out and strummed his guitar and patted him on the back. All Those Yesterdays, Dissident, and Leash were highlights for me. So amazing. I also got an elusive Jeff pick. I can’t wait to leave for Nashville on Monday.

A complete honor to have been there at all, let alone with my daughter in the pit. So grateful to the band and the community! 🙏
