Also, I don't know if this has been discussed, but does anyone else think that the little lead guitar line in "Won't Tell" completely sounds like it was lifted from a Cure album?
I posted the following re Won't Tell back in April 2024: Won't Tell - My instant favourite. What a creative way to share a dream. The mental imagery is reminiscent of Uncle Neil. I get some Cure vibes towards the end.
Yep. Full on Cure. I need to try and figure out what song in particular it reminds me of.
    Just Like Heaven
Agreed. Also a bit of "In Between Days". I'm liking these 80s influences like in DOTC.
1991- Hollywood Palladium, California with Temple of the Dog, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains -RIP Magazine Show Oct. 6th
    1992- Lollapalooza, Irvine, California
    Nothing since then. I suck.
2016- Fenway Park, Boston - Both glorious nights
    2022- Oakland Night 2
    2024 Sacramento, CA

"Pictures of You" as well although The Cure does have that cool melody running through their overall catalog which is great. I also love PJ's ode to other bands and other genres. I love DOTC and Dark Matter has some great influences such as Peter Gabriel, Cure, and Bad Religion. Ed has said of a few of their albums that he feels it is their best work and when he said it about DM he may have been right.
