It’s been fact checked endlessly  that both parties, including democrats, have had those arriving here illegally, in horrible conditions.

 The one difference is the aggressive separation of families by trump. People on here do NOT want to see humans treated in this manner. Coming here illegally comes with extreme risk, and managing large populations of this is extremely difficult and neither party has found an easy solution. 

Biden sleeping at the border wheel directly led to trump winning, so might as well blame him.

So look folks, let's look at the bigger picture.  These FL gulags are crowded and inhumane.  Period.  And what's as bad or worse is that most or all of the people who have been locked up in them have been denied due process.  And anyone who is OK with denying anyone due process... 

...I won't finish that sentence because I would like to retain my ability to post here.  Putting it as nicely as possible, any one who believes it's OK to deny due process can go pound sand. This is America, and democracy is our foundation.  If you don't like democracy, try living in Russia for a while and see how you like that.

stating something commonly reported in the media as to how the Latinos voted, and folks that came here illegally, no matter their country of origin, are in a compromised legal position no matter our political affiliation and does not deserve these attacks, and neither does the other member getting the same attacks of racism.

I somewhat disagree, it is a few people that express those views. Which I have no problem with. But I do think some of those opinions are idealistic and do not reflect reality.

Now a lot of people took my comment on the sinks to say I’m normalizing everything Trump is doing. I’ll say it for about the 6th time, I’m not. I don’t agree with his rhetoric, the round ups, the mass deportation, the concept of alligator Alcatraz, etc. But when the main complaint I keep saying is calling them cages and saying they poop and brush their teeth in the same unit, when they haven’t said anything about it in the last 15 years, I can’t help but roll my eyes at those comments.

By your logic when Obama & Biden were doing the same thing I ask why didn’t the GOP hierarchy cry foul? Like the Democrats are doing now? Could it be they don’t give a fuck how immigrants are treated so if they were it’s all good? 

You’ve missed the point and that’s an easy answer. They didn’t cry foul because there isn’t anything inherently wrong with using those combo sinks. That’s why they’ve been used for decades in several different capacities. Why do people only complain when it’s an ice detention center and only when Trump is in office? If it’s that bad, go stand up for the jails, prisons and any other place that uses the same thing.

It’s hard to take a politician seriously when they show up on tv in tears saying people and brushing their teeth out of the toilet when they’ve never said a word about it before. That’s the one complaint I hear more than any other.

And, to be absolutely clear again, I disagree with a lot of the other things going on. But the complaint I hear most is about those combo sinks.

Mine neither. But like I said, I hear about that more than anything else. Politicians picking only now to complain about it seems odd to me.

The person whom wrote this has obviously never been to prison.  The toilets and sink are always a combination unit.  They must also have some crazy bathroom where the sink isn't next to their toilet...

I built an outhouse in the backyard  for this reason.

Huh, you built a whole enclosed structure? I just dug a hole and put a piece of plywood over it when not in use. Beats throwing it out the 2nd floor window every morning.

Better yet, write a check to Uncle Sam. Start a go fund me. Put their money where their mouths are. Demand better and pay for it. Taxes solves everything. Mamdani for prez. They only yell when it’s the Rs doing it because they’re hoping to score political points. Otherwise they’d be yelling at Biden. Which they should do,  He’s the one that brought us trump2
