    Idiot question:

So they say RSD Exclusive to build hype and artificial demand? If it truly was RSD Exclusive...well, it's gotta be to build hype.

Or is the Pearl Jam machine (or 10C machine?) just that powerful? They have had tours where their ticketing has been better than season ticket holders.

Either way, I had a VERY strong feeling that those who slept in wouldn't miss out. Santos always delivers!

I wish I had known this was gonna be in the shop, I wouldn't have spent 3 hours waiting in a line yesterday. I thought RSD exclusive meant that was it. But I'm very happy for everyone who missed out yesterday!

The ones sold in stores is RSD exclusive. Run of 4000. The one sold @ the 10Club store is 10Club exclusive. "10c Sky Blue Eco is a different color then RSD Ocean Floor." Don't know how many of this variant is pressed.

Happy for those who couldn’t get the record yesterday. I don’t need two so I must resist.

It's cool. HOWEVER...if you think you might want it later, buy it now. There's a lot of stuff we all missed out on because "it'll be available later" and then we had to settle for a reissue.

I really didn’t have one either until this past January, after I started getting more serious and intentional about vinyl collecting. And I continually joke with record store owners that I probably never should have started. 😂💸😂💸😂💸 It sure is fun, though.

It is fun. But also a slippery slope. I bought a turntable about 5 years ago and pulled my old records out of storage. It starts with buying some reasonably priced used records then it ends up - I NEED that sealed Lost Dogs for $500. What a great deal.

And yes, I did.buy that sealed Lost Dogs for $500 and have absolutely no regrets 😁.

I feel this so much, you have no idea. 😂 I think the most I’ve spent on a single album thus far is nearly $300 but our collection has ballooned from like 20 to 200 in 3 months, so … yeah, a very, very slippery slope.

Yes, yes and, um, yes! I now have a monthly vinyl expenditure. Note how I didn’t say budget. My husband built me a turntable stand that is no longer large enough to house my collection. Guess he’ll need to work on a bigger one, oh well! 😂

You are not doing the tenclub any favors with this defense.

Get one and listen to your records. I didn’t have one at the time and am now stuck with two defective vinyls purchased through 10C because I had no way to listen to the records.

Ah, gotcha, I read your post as saying that you were buying records and didn’t have a turntable.

You are wise in your approach of not buying; it becomes an exercise of self-control and left unchecked, can become an absolute money-pit.

Got mine today. Got a 1/2” scratch on side A and the record has a nice taco shape bc they folder a spacer board in half and sandwiched it in the mailer.

    $38 for this shit.

I'd give my mail carrier a 20, box of cookies or something and ask them to please be careful. I've done that. Left a note in mailbox about my vinyl addiction. They are always careful anyway. Guess I've been lucky too.

    Good luck. Sorry it happened!
