Exoneree Band + Mike McCready @ Innocence Network Conference
amamaknox - I'm in the Exoneree Band. All of us have been wrongly convicted, w/ 100+ years of wrongful imprisonment between us. Last weekend, we played at the Innocence Network Conference, & were lucky to be joined by @mikemccreadypj of Pearl Jam. He and his wife Ashley are big supporters of the Washington Innocence Project. Ashley is president of the board!

Jamming with The Exoneree Band
Earlier in April, the Innocence Project hosted their network’s annual conference, bringing together folks directly impacted, advocates, and others who work to free the innocent, prevent wrongful conviction, and provide post-release support.At the conference’s closing celebration, Mike broke out his Strat, jamming with The Exoneree Band (See clip). Composed of six musicians wrongfully convicted for another person’s crime, this touring group began performing in 2011. Learn more about the band (Here).0 -

@amandaknox
We don't get to play often as we all live in different cities, but the band meets up for Innocence Network events. And we were thrilled to have @MikeMcCreadyPJ of Pearl Jam join us this last show. His wife Ashley is on the board of the @WAinnocence Project. Their support is huge!

A Jam to Remember
Last month, the Exoneree Band and Mike jammed on-stage at Seattle’s Rabbit Box, capping off the annual National Innocence Network Conference. Reflecting on the moment, Mike says… It was a joyous yet really heavy environment in terms of psychologically and healing. I think music is critical to healing humans.
We did a couple of Pearl Jam songs. I don’t generally do those songs with anybody except for my band, but this is such an important occasion that I felt like: I’ll do whatever these guys want to do, and I feel honored to be part of it (Read - Paywall).Learn more about the Innocence Project, what they do, and how to get involved (Here).
