The tea towel I bought last year is the worst piece of merchandise I have ever bought. It was completely ruined after just one wash.

The band clearly values loyalty over quality. No other reason they've stuck with Tsurt for so long.

That said, band tshirts have never been the best quality-wise. And with merch basically the only way artists make money, it's not surprising to see bands/artists skimp on shirt quality.

The quality used to be better. I have a few shirts from the 2000 and 2003 tours that have held up well. I have a long sleeve from the Binaural tour that still looks great. Which is crazy considering it is 25 years old. Even my Austin shirt from 2014 still looks great. Good thing I do not buy any merch anymore.

The shirt from my first show in 96 is still in good condition. Granted, I don't wear it a ton, but it's held up so much better than shirts I've purchased the past few tours.

Comfort Colors is 100% the way to go. I also saw the new responder shirt is not tultex. It is american apparel heavyweight. Curious to hear how people like that one

I’m just glad you’re not forced to buy a poor quality shirt. I went to TJ Maxx recently and the t shirts were very thin, so I didht buy it. I actually have pj shirts from 2018 and 2024 and both seem like good quality. Washed and dried multiple times and still fit great. Don’t think it was a strange question.

I did not have a TJ Maxx reference on my bingo card for this thread.  😁

"I love your t-shirt designs and would buy more if you used a heftier material" seems like reasonable feedback to a business from a potential customer

But the consumer has a choice not to purchase if they feel the quality is not up to their standards. I mean you are going to a concert, not clothes shopping. I wouldn’t pay $45 for a crappy product but I don’t think about T shirts when I’m going to a show. What if the material was too hefty? Then what? What’s the thread count? Is the material breathable? I might just get the socks. I’ll keep u posted.
