Tonight we’re holding a roundtable for those who hold these two passions. As a primer to opening day, we’re doing a deep dive into the band’s connection with the game and the parallels of the fandoms. If you are interested in being a part of this panel, please contact me at liveon4legspodcast@gmail.com, it’ll happen tonight at 9 ET. here are some of the topics:
- Personal connection and exposure to both music and baseball at a young age, and the alignment of passions
- connecting with stories of Ed’s fandom how it parallels from your own
- how the unique storytelling of baseball fits so well within the band’s own style of storytelling
- Pearl Jam’s relationship with baseball media, including ballpark shows, music used in promotions, appearances and designated band celebration days
- the difference of psyche between following sports and live music
Hi, I host a Pearl Jam Podcast. We go back to some of the classic shows in their history and break down the entire setlist front to back. From historic perspective, to performances, to setlist construction, to fan stories. We do our best to capture the magic that is their live act and help you relive those memories, or if you weren't there, maybe turn you on to a show you've never heard before.
Live On 4 Legs can be found on Apple Podcast, Spotify and any other major podcast platform. But please support our website and check out the episodes archived there. Oh, and the Concertpedia as well (for you Five Horizons and Two Feet Thick fans, we've picked up where they've left off)

Nice job on this with finding some good fan stories. I also appreciated the parallel of refreshing the setlist to that of a fan checking the in game stats of a game they can’t be at/watch and how baseball can be much more of a story within a game compared to most other sports. Enjoy your shows this spring.0

As a White Sox fan I'm used to losing a lot in recent years, so what a fun way to combine passions.1998: Noblesville, IN 08-172000: Noblesville, IN 08-182003: Noblesville, IN 06-222006: Cincinnati, OH 06-242010: Noblesville, IN 05-072016: Lexington, KY 04-26, Wrigley Field 2 08-222018: Wrigley Field 1 08-18, Wrigley Field 2 08-202022: St. Louis, MO 09-182024: Noblesville, IN 08-26, Wrigley Field 1 08-29, Wrigley Field 2 08-31

Thank you, and thanks to the other kind comments as well! This is something I put a lot of my energy towards and my hope was that it romanticized both fandoms and made people feel like the connection was special. I have no idea if I accomplished all of that, but it feels like the majority of people who listened in thoroughly enjoyed it. I’ll have to put together an episode for every opening dayiOnlyownMymind said:Nice job on this with finding some good fan stories.
