    They should have coordinated Ten Club night to be at these games.

    I saw a series of clips on MLB Network's "Quick Pitch" of players from these teams pretending to be heavily invested in winning the Vedder Cup. One player said he'd dreamed of winning the Vedder Cup since he was a boy. Another said it was the greatest achievement in the sport. Their deadpan irony was amusing, but I don't know if they were doing it on their own or if it was set up by their media relations people.

    Petco field is a great ballpark! Wow! Here are a few photos… Padres mascot was wearing a flannel, the EV hats, and the place to take a selfie with EV cardboard guitar. I hope somebody asks for Ed’s  cardboard guitar from the selfie station because it’s going in the dumpster after the Vedder Cup.

    My two cents on the Vedder cup, as a life long Cubs and PJ fan, is that they need to come up with some complicated system nobody really grasps, like the NBA play-in tournament ...maybe other baseball cities have a fair claim on EV. Boston? Toronto? Just thinking out loud here.
