TM Timed Drop / Very Strange Issue / NEED HELP!

Hey TM Experts - have a weird one and hoping for any insight!  I have a timed drop for a pair of tickets in the works with a VERY kind member here and earlier today we tried the first of 2 tickets with a direct link while I was at work (we opted for 1 seat at a time to increase chances of success - this was the case last tour and seemed to work better).  However, after I got the link this afternoon and refreshed the page until the ticket became available, I checked "I Agree" and clicked on "Get Tickets", then page then shows "Just a moment" and just spins and spins and spins - does not progress to the next page.  Finally, I can see the ticket on the public TM page and I get the dreaded "These Tickets Are No Longer Available".  However, after my initial disappointment the seller confirms that they were still able to cancel the listing and essentially re-claim the ticket.  So odd!

Fast forward to 10 minutes ago - we tried the OTHER ticket and I attempted to purchase with my wife's TM account at home (different Wi-Fi network).  The result was the same issue, same "These Tickets Are No Longer Available", and again the seller was able to cancel the listing.  I also had friends try to purchase with the direct link this time (I shared right away) and same story... So I think I've proven this is not an issue with the buyer's account, the network I was on, etc.

Question: has anyone heard of this before??  Any suggestions on how to resolve?  Is listing one ticket a time still advisable?

You said you don’t think it’s the sellers account but i think it might be marked as an issue by TM. Get them to reach out and mention the issue selling and see what their terrible customer service says.

I’ve noticed today in particular that any f2f seats that pop up are immediately un-cartable & are sitting there as “No Longer Available” for a really long time. Normally once they sell they’ve been disappearing within a couple mins. Today they sit for 30mins+ sometimes. I wonder if something is off with the whole system today and not just your link/drop.

Case in point there’s an Atl 2 pair in 118 right now behaving that way. Sitting there for over 20 mins as unavailable and was never able to cart on my attempts when it showed up. If it had been bought right away it ordinarily wouldn’t sit there this long other than the odd glitchy/ghost case.

And now finally they became cart-able ages after appearing but I got the 504 error after checkout. Seems like there is a major lag in f2f listings being purchasable once listed today. I would definitely wait for another day to try your drop.

Last year once in a while there were tickets that were cartable but not purchasable, I specifically remember it for Portland GA where my card had like 15 pending charges from trying but no one could buy the tickets. Never knew what happened to them, eventually disappeared and some googling that error code led to some posts on Reddit about it being an issue with the seller’s account.

The issue with a link being stuck on the wait a moment page has been happening to me and several of my friends. You can fix that by carting another pair of tickets using the browser on your phone and not the app. Then cancel the purchase, can do it with premium tickets or other fan to fan. If you try a link again within an hour it’ll work, otherwise it’ll go back to not working and you can keep fixing it by carting other tickets. 

The other issue with the link going from “These will be available soon” straight to “sold or removed” and never even being available to cart I’ve seen as well and I’ve also watched those tickets pop up on a scalper site shortly after. In those cases the seller had a “pending offer” status in their listing details and was unable to cancel the sale. 

Long story I think there’s a lot going on with various reasons for why it’s happening. Love this system.

Thanks everyone for the insight!  We just tried the carting another pair trick (I carted Atlanta and cancelled the order), and I got a fresh private link about 3 mins after that and I still ran into the same "spinning wheel of death" problem.  Gonna take the advice here and wait to do this another day.  Seems like F2F is even more f*cked today than it normally is!

Oh wow! Something new must be going on. Yay. The carting thing has previously worked 100% of the time for everyone I know. I think you’re doing the right thing by giving it a day or two.
