I’d put Setting Sun, Scared of Fear, Waiting for Stevie, and maybe Wreckage in the top 15 songs post 2000.
    Parting Ways
    Love Boat Captain
    Life Wasted
    Come Back
    Inside Job
    Who Ever Said
    Lightning Bolt
    MYM
    Yellow Moon
    Gonna see My Friend
    Amongst the Waves

This from someone who loves Gigaton. I didn’t think they’d get something like Dark Matter out. Glad they stole my lunch money on that one.

    Upper Hand

The Top 5 are among the very best songs in the PJ catalogue. The next 5 are very, very good and would make up an amazing 10 song album.

But Upper Hand kills the flow of the album for me. The intro is interesting, but the transition to the first verse is jarring, and the song dies on its ass for the verse. The chorus is good, but the outro solo sounds like it belongs in another song. It’s like 3 different songs and they don’t work together as one.
    “Do not postpone happiness”
    (Jeff Tweedy, Sydney 2007)

“Put yer good money on the sunrise”
    (Tim Rogers)
