Neat! Hopefully they will also add Pearl Jam's VH1 Storytellers special.

That's an episode that should be released on DVD / Vinyl.

It was on there before. Then it was gone. Now it's back. But it's still not in HD

Yeah and it doesn’t look like they are all full sets either.

Some just seemed shorter to me but you are correct. I will say this. Just watched AIC and PJ. Don’t care that it’s SD, 4x3, same audio. On my giant HD TV. It’s exactly as I saw it the first time in my 20’s. It’s nostalgic and I love it.

Absolutely. The performance was great, especially knowing what Layne was going through at the time.

I still remember watching it with my friends when it premiered. Was super nervous than Layne was going to be a train wreck since they hadn’t performed in like 2 years. Within a minute I realized we were watching something special. The greatest Unplugged of all time IMO. Fun fact, I read somewhere that Jerry was sick as a dog from some street meat he had eaten earlier in the day. Hence the trash can at his feet. In case he had to puke.

How is the quality compared to the DVD?

I saw that the KISS one had a bump in quality (but might have been compared to a VHS recording).

I'm gonna have to check out those episodes out, thanks for the intel. @Spiritual_Chaos Is that the show where they do a killer version of going blind?

Since hearing about this, I've re-watched Pearl Jam, Nirvana, AIC, STP, and Live.
Was going to hit Soul Asylum, R.E.M., and Aerosmith next.

They have the later R.E.M. unplugged, but not the first one. Ironically the first one is showing on video monitors next to the stage as the band is playing. Michael even comments on how handsome the singer is on the monitor. I hope they add the first one too.
