Thrilled to cross off Indifference with Nashville N1 opener.  Also crossed off Got to Give with that show.  Nice to get two songs crossed off on my 30th show.

Leaves NAIS as my most played missing song (thru now 31 shows).  Not played at the Ice Bowl on the Binaural tour!?!  You Are is behind that.  As a vinyl collector…wishing they play these singles more frequently in future set lists.

Also of note, Stone did not sing this 11 date 2025 DM tour and wishing that happened at Nashville N2 when the whole crowd was pleading for it.  Eying Mankind sooner or later.

Unless you count Gremmie at Ohana last year which isn't lead vocal for Stone then they haven't let Stone sing since Mankind in Amsterdam, July 2022.  That same show had Mike/Matt sing Black Diamond and Josh sing Purple Rain as Ed was recovering from a throat issue so other members of the band chipped in to help out...

    Breakerfall (90 plays, 44 shows)

But I have seen: Whale Song, Bugs, Gremmie, two of three (!) Sweet Lew performances, two of four performances of Got to Give and Other Side....

    36 shows...still no NAIS
another tough one, only 22 times 2006 onwards.
Wow, that is also my most unheard through 31 shows but seeing that stat shows you how incredibly rare it is now. I started going to shows in 2009 and a lot of the songs I heard that tour are rarely played now.

We still get fairly varied sets, but I think it's a lot less now than it used to be. One or two "rare" songs per night seem to be all.
15 of the 22 times in North America as well, which gets a bit to the luck factor. I am not saying this to be a dick, it is just luck of the draw, I have caught it 4 of the last 11 times it was played.  And I am not an "every show guy", been to my fair share, but sometimes the way the setlist fall is random.  The only time I felt very good odds of getting it was Missoula last summer given Missoula is often going to have a good handful of Jeff tunes on the set.

In the course of their touring, 1 or 2 rarer songs per night is actually pretty pretty good. In hindsight some older sets look full of rarities because time has made them rarities. They have actually done a really good job given their slavish deference to Ten post covid in dropping some nuggets almost every night, some certainly loom more rare than others, but basically every night this last run got at least 2-3 lesser played songs per night (not including Dark Matter songs and covers) it sort of all depends on your personal stats and what you are chasing.

these are selections that have a rarity score above 80 from Livefootsteps.org

4.24 - Oceans (102nd) Amongst the Waves (56th) Leatherman (67th) - technically Down should be in here too, but it is crazy that it is has been played as much as Oceans. Footsteps technically too given when it was debuted to today it scores an 86 this one pops up again on 5.16
    4.26 - Of the Girl (57th) Faithfull (106th)
    4.29 - Can't Keep (28th) In Hiding (100th) Inside Job (71st)
    5.1 - All Those Yesterdays (25th) Off he Goes (127th) Leash (137th)
    5.3 - Tremor Christ (87th) Love Boat Captain (100th) Red Mosquito (96th)
    5.6 - Lowlight (95th) Brain of J (135th) Green Disease (67th) Come Back (58th)
5.8 - Long Road (99th) this show is the least of the bunch though but a case can be made for Insignificance in that it has only been played 6 times 2014 onward.
    5.11 - Light Years (97th) Hold On (6th!) Smile (92nd) Satan's Bed (43rd)
5.13 - Amongst the Waves (57th) Untitled (55th) In My Tree (103rd) Bee Girl (27th)
5.16 - Sleight of Hand (52nd) Grievance (while not an 80 rarity score, was "In Hiding" for 123 shows since 8.5.15) Man of the Hour (54th) as noted footsteps technically and also another appearance by Lowlight
5.18 - This show really only has Future Days as a bust out at 18th time played, but at rarity score above 80 you do have Garden which I over looked earlier and Nothingman and Deep also overlooked earlier and Faithfull for 2nd time this run.  Plus the Hungerstrike etc

If you have not checked out Livefootsteps.org highly recommend Dave's work.  It is a treasure trove of information and we are lucky he was crazy enough to do this for stat nerds.
Wow, I will most definitely check it out. I have been so fortunate to be at shows where some rare stuff has been played (All Those Yesterdays, Rival, Alone (5 times!) Bugs twice, and I am sure so many rare songs) I have a spreadsheet on top of the PJ setlist app too

Grievance was a WTF moment for Pittsburgh 1.  Grievance.  Great song.  Fun song.  But holy hell, how has it come to the point where Grievance is a white whale?  Too many songs to fit in a 25 song set I guess.
I too was surprised at the choice. I've seen grievance more than the song that it got scratched for.  I've seen it more than 84% of the original PJ songs I've heard.  It's been played at 25% of the shows I've ever been to. Quite frankly it was one I was glad they put away after hearing it so often over the years.  When he asked for a request, a once in a lifetime opportunity, I expected a rare gem such as otherside, brother, or hitchhiker would be chosen.

Good luck hearing Animal, Go, Glorified G, Dissident, Blood, Leash, Rats.  Their best album.  Sold a million units in one week.  And they only play Elderly and Daughter regularly, with Indifference and RVM every once in a while.  How is that possible?  They don’t have to play Ten so much.

I imagine it is WMA or something. But i mean, really one maybe should count songs from the year one saw their first show. If I count from 2006, WMA is not a song that has been played much.

Thank you. I guess it is DEEP then (played 222 times).

Don't feel much of a need to hear it live though. Have wanted to hear Sad and Alone since 2006. So I rather have them play those.

I've seen wash 11 damn times in only 71 shows.  It took me 40 shows to hear oceans, have heard it 7 times since.

For me it's setting sun (19).  It was on the setlist at Baltimore, and they scratched it for YL.
Update after the recent shows, I heard setting sun twice.  My new list is:

    Superblood Wolfmoon (17)
    Getaway (16)
    Can't Deny me (16)
    Ole (14)
    Brother (8)
    Something Special (8)
    Take the Long Way (7)

    Just a girl (2)
    Last Soldier (2)
    Gremmie out of control (1)

Not trying to rub it in (and I appreciate me opening with this statement makes me seem like I’m rubbing it in) but I’ve witnessed both “Alone” and “Crown” (and NAIS, for that matter) THREE times each after “only” 10 shows. I wish we could make trades like baseball cards here…

I’ve yet to see them perform “Deep” and “Dissident” and it’s driving me bananas - especially because I’ve “just missed them” a couple of times.
