First off, a big shout out to JOEJOEJOE  for his most excellent tip regarding this really cool music/ creative arts film.  Thanks Joe!  :plus_one:

What a cool documentary!  I really loved the Athens, GA music scene back in the early to mid 80's- at least what I knew of it when it was going on.  I was full-time busy here out west and never got (or made) time to head back east to check it out.  (Thankfully, I did get to see somewhat early era R.E.M. in November, 1983, Kabuki Theater, S.F.)  I would loved to have been there, but here it is, all on one very cool package.  And now I find there was more to that scene than I realized.  Some of the lesser known bands here sound great.  There's also a bit of very cool poetry thrown in between a few of the songs, some fascinating interview excerpts, and extras to boot.  Two hours!  Cool beans!
