LN is destroying live music.  They have increased the guarantees they offer bands to get most every major band into their stable.  A band for whom I am the CPA is making more money than ever but it comes at the expense of the fans who have to pay over double what they are used to for tickets.

LN has also made it impossible to get good seats during an on-sale without paying platinum pricing.  Seems as if you have to be one of the first ones into the sale to get good seats at normal (though highly inflated) face value before TM/LN turn them into platinum seats.

LN is also booking lots of bands into venues that are way too huge for them.  The Simple Minds are doing an arena tour this summer.  Even when they were at the height of popularity with their movie songs, they never played venues that large.  The last time they played L.A., it was at a 2,500-seater.
