If it were up to me and you had to put 5 in, it would be:

    Bad Co.
    Chubby Checker
    Billy Idol
    Oasis
    Soundgarden

Since it's not up to me, expect the 5 to be:

    Mariah Carey
    Joe Cocker
    Cyndi Lauper
    Mana
    Outkast

Putting taste aside the Crowes and Oasis on there before Smashing Pumpkins is interesting

Yeah, I'm certain this has been weighing heavy on Lemmy's mind in the afterlife.

Same + expand to six and add The Black Crowes :sunglasses:

Wouldn't mind seeing Chubby Checker and/or Joy Division, and Joe Cocker, RIP, deserves to be in there too

White stripes didn't blow up till 2001's White Blood Cells, they can sit this one out another year.

Everyone looks like an equal playing field. Save for Mana, I'll be the first to say I've never heard of them before today.

When you blew up is irrelevant. It’s about blowing up at some point and using the first record as first year of eligibility .

I’m on the fence about Oasis. I mean, I like them, but they get a big fat zero for originality.

White Stripes will be a shoe in for first ballot. Any band that ushers in a “movement” is in.

Maybe we’d finally get a reunion performance.

If they get in Jack should play a 2.5 hour set at the induction

They aren't first timers. They were nominated in 2023 and rejected.
