    The Dave Matthews Band was first nominated three years ago.  They won the fan voting handily and did not get inducted that year.  Soundgarden was up there the same year and obviously was not inducted.  The fan vote is a complete waste.

    of course it is. it's a marketing tool for the hall, nothing more.
