**ATTENTION VINYL ENTHUSIASTS IN THE WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY AREA**

 

My cousin is hosting vinyl record listening parties/contests at local breweries in the Westchester NY area. The basics:

 

- You enter a record and a side to play

- The crowd will judge based on: rarity of record, quality of music, response to music

- There's also some record trivia – album covers, labels, etc.

 

The winners get gift cards to the breweries and other prizes.

For the record (pun intended) I can't win because he's my cousin lol, but my entries so far:

 

- Vs. side B

- The Strokes Is This It Side B (was gonged off the turntable because it kept skipping)

 

If you show up to one, and you see a bearded giant in a Supreme beanie, and you give him the password (spin the black circle), he’ll buy you a beer. That’s me.
