Just curious, as usual. What are your plans for the game?
I'm getting together with friends I have known for 30 years. It will be a day of poker and food. I'm in charge of the sandwich tray, enough to feed 25 people. I think I am also going to make a batch of soup. 

Let me hear your plans.

    Just the family. Going to make a pulled pork and grab some apps to throw in the oven. Then I have halftime to clean up - something to do while some terrible music is playing.

    Just the family of 4. Our tradition is wings. Tons of wings. Usually three kinds. The one day a year my wife says nothing about bad food choices. Maybe some subs, nachos, freezer apps (fried broccoli, pigs in a blanket etc.), or queso dip. Jalapeno poppers if it is not too cold to fire up the grill. I usually get motivated around 9pm Saturday.

    For years my bride and I did the same thing. Just the 2 of us and a bunch of homemade appetizers.

    Wife and I are going to a party hosted by an Eagles fan.  He brings in all the authentic ingredients for Philly steak sandwiches!

    Kendrick Lamar is one of the leading purveyors of hip hop.  I am not a fan of present-day rap music but he is actually really good!

    Not sure what will be on the menu I’ll leave it up to my daughter & wife! I won’t watch the game I’ll just eat have a few brews, I didn’t know who was in the SB till yesterday someone asked me who I was rooting for 😂

    .I do the Polar Bear Plunge at 130. This is when we all go jump in the Atlantic for charity. I Start around 10 or so, get a spot, drink some moonshine then do a flip in the water.  We attract thousands every year, my groups varies from 4 to 20.

    Then i will rest and get ready for a private party where I have a box and root for numbers and hope to hit a quarter, lol.

    As of today, I still haven't purchased any squares. I am not happy about this. My friends and I will have some strip cards going for all 4 quarters, plus I will be playing poker all day. I guess that's enough gambling. Fuck those squares! Ha

    As do I. But since I am not working, I don't have those squares available. I don't do the bar scene, so no squares there.

    Going to a friend's. They host everything - football Sundays, holidays, you name it.

    I have to bring fresh-baked donut holes (powdered jelly and glazed) from a local bakery. They're fantastic. The place is only open 3 days a week, cash only. I've gotten there at 630 for a 7AM opening and I've been 10th in line. The glazed usually sell out by 9, and they don't make anymore for the day. And people at the party eat them before the main courses lol.

    I totally forgot about boxes. I usually do big ones - $250 and up. My local deli had a $100, took #40, the number of the building where I grew up. I usually take 5 and 17.

    Well ribs are not happening. We are going full Japanese. Fluke sashimi. Some kind of salad with daikon. Followed by grilled duck breast and soba soup. Pics to follow. Eagles moneyline all day.

    Wings, homemade beef jerky, whitefish spread, cocktail weenies, spinach artichoke dip, pub cheese and about 5 different chips for dipping…..just me and the wife. We will toss about $100 on DraftKings and bet a bunch of long shot wagers just for fun.

    Doing the normal Connecticut casino trip with the usual group of friends.  
    Last few years we have watched at Tom's Watch Bar at Mohegan Sun, usually get a bunch of wings and then folks order burgers or sandwiches later.

    The crud bug will make for just a family affair this year. Going to make some Detroit-style pizzas (BBQ Pulled pork and pepperoni/Canadian bacon) and wings.
