ok i know i come to you guys about everything, which i dont mind. but i plan on taking all my guitars and getting something done to them if i think it doesnt sound the way i want. so instead of hounding you guys with tons of pointless questions is there a great site with alot of product reviews. i will ask one pointless question. would it be a good idea to get new volume/tone knobs put in while im at this? does it make a difference at all? or is a volume/tone knob a volume/tone knob no matter what? ok thats 3 questions but whatever.

This is THE site for reviews, etc. Good call.
As far as the volume/tone stuff... pots with different values will give you different tone and output, and different values on tone caps will affect your tone as well. So, there is a significant difference. But if you're swapping pups, do that first and then see what you need.
