    But not a newspaper ofc.

    They generally lean a little left. Same with NPR.

    there will some question if they continue to receive the necessary federal funding. ecen though they also rely on donations,  at leat the local stations.

    we have solid journalists in the states. they happen to work for bad owners/editors...

    hence the shift to independent journalism. Which the internet helps make possible so they can continue to make a living.

    Mueller She Wrote. Allison Gill.  Started as a podcast during the Mueller investigation. became a full time job after she was offered a trasfer from her job in san diego to dc. Was described as being Mulvaneyed. They knew ahewoyksnt take it. became a means to let peopje go without the stickiness of firing them.

    Mueller She Wrote the podcast became Jack - All Things Special Counsel.  was very good reporting and analysis with Andy McCabe formerly if FBI during the Mueller period.

    There are 2 other podcasts from her ,  The Daily Beans with Dana Goldberg and Clean Up On Aisle 45 with Harry Dunn who took over 2nd chair from Pete Strzok
