White whale poster!

Out of all the concerts I've been to, I was only missing 2 posters. The first one is Lexington 2016 which I've decided I will never obtain due to it's ungodly aftermarket price. We got to the venue late and opted to get a beer instead of waiting in the outside merch line. When we got inside Rupp, all posters were gone.

The 2nd one was 2006 Cincinnati. But, I'm happy to announce that I have finally tracked that one down at a reasonable price and I can't wait to add it to my collection.

Recommendation- put the posters you are seeking in the title. A lot of people won't click into thread without some info. I think you'll have a better shot!!!

I got Lexington from a board member. It was expensive, but it was at a time when i hadn’t even seen one pop up in forever. but eventually those prices will have to come down. Not sure why it is so hard to come by

Still kicking myself for not getting the 98 DC Constitution Hall poster. It's the only poster I've really liked in the DC / VA Beach area since that show.

Thanks for the recommendation. I wasn't actually asking if anyone had it since I know I can't afford it right now, but more so excited that I was able to track the other one down.

They are barely even on ebay any more.

Congrats! I assume you haven’t received it yet? Mine was the Santa Barbara 06 Emek that I wanted to find for my partner. One of the Expressobeans admins hooked me up and it was absolutely surreal to see it in person. So glad you get to experience that feeling soon!

I got my first two show posters this past year: Uniondale and MSG 2003
Uniondale was at the Ames scratch and dent in Seattle, I absolutely had to do it. MSG 2003 was my main grail. I got it on their site during the archive sale and the price was much lower than I was expecting.

Rome 2018 is probably the next grail

My White Whale is the Ames 1998 Melbourne poster. I stood there at the merch table after the show thinking "what will I do with that tiny weird looking poster" and passed on it!

It is the only poster I don't have for the shows I attended.

I saw one on ebay about 10 years ago that had multiple pin holes in each of the corners and green/yellow stains around the edges for about $185 US. Was far from 'good condition' but I took a few days to think it over and thought I could 'frame out' the damage but by the time I decided to buy it, it was sold!

the price these days is just way too expensive.

I love that one too. I have the post card version in a frame. Want the big one for my vinyl listening room, but I'll never drop the kind of $$$ people are asking for it.

It’s Kong for me although the Padova bee poster is pretty high up there too.

I think the 2006 Cincinnati poster looks great.

I had a good time attending that Cincinnati show. I like that area the arena is in.

Yeah, at the time... it was one of the best shows I had ever been to. The first time I ever had floor seats!

My WW's:
1. 2005 Sponsored by No One/Sacramento Ames Poster-just purchased. A little dinged but at least it will look nice framed
2. 2008- Sacramento - Ames Bros w/ car - never see this one come up and the expresso beans price history makes it look like it will be quite expensive if it does show up- Hoping for a miracle with a 10 Club member or will have to keep my fingers crossed that Ames puts it up in one of their monthly sales...

For what it's worth, I have a "black foil" 2024 Philly poster that I would trade for it....just saying....

Jesus...i have a Lexington in a portfolio that will likely never get framed. If I ever come to terms with breaking my complete set, I'd consider it. ....which leads me to asking what the current value of a show edition is?!?!

Not sure I have a specific white whale. A band-signed print of a show I attended would be awesome. There's a few 98s I'd grab if I got the chance (Knoxville, Montreal tractor).

Vancouver (2000) - Commodore.

There's no official poster for the show, but I remember there being gas mask era promo posters. I wish I could find one. Never even see them on ebay.
