So Bondi said she neither listened to the recording of Trump telling the GA Sec of State to "find me 11,780 votes" nor did she know Kash Patel published a de facto enemies list in his book. Really? If true, she's clearly NOT interested in informing herself on the issues of corruption in government.

Ummm . . . "bad" isn't the standard to prosecute ANYONE. It's actually "criminal." Let's hope any future attorney general can keep those concepts straight.

I've seen some odd things locally with private equity investors buying up homes from the elderly. They are able to target addresses I assume based on length of ownership and then they make ridiculous offers on the properties. Some people just like the idea of calling a number and accepting an offer without having to worry about finding a realtor, cleaning up the property, fixing things, etc.

One example is a house that we looked at a year or so ago when we were helping our son look for a place. The property was listed at $240K and was owned by Offerpad, LLC. They had purchased the property from the elderly owner for $170K and immediately listed it for $240K and it sold.

We went through it and they didn't even vacuum the place. There was a tooth flosser sitting on the sink that no one even bothered to remove.

Illegal? No...but horribly unethical in my opinion. They are preying on the ignorance of these people who likely had to move out to go into assisted living. I've seen similar situations with estates selling property. The heirs inherit the property and don't want to mess with it. They are likely completely unaware of what the true property value is so they just take the offer and run because it's easy.

It’s absurd to have to use a third party to file electronically. Just the data breach risk is reason enough to not box citizens into that.

So the majority of ownership of the stock market could potentially sell stock to realize the gains in order to pay the wealth tax? This just doesn't sound like such a hot idea for our 401ks.
