With the help of the PJ podcast community, we’ve come up with an extensive best of list featuring the top 50 moments of the year. Part 1 is out now, part 2 will be out on Thursday night.

Check it out if you can, do you think we got the first half of the list right?

Hi, I host a Pearl Jam Podcast. We go back to some of the classic shows in their history and break down the entire setlist front to back. From historic perspective, to performances, to setlist construction, to fan stories. We do our best to capture the magic that is their live act and help you relive those memories, or if you weren't there, maybe turn you on to a show you've never heard before.

Live On 4 Legs can be found on Apple Podcast, Spotify and any other major podcast platform. But please support our website and check out the episodes archived there. Oh, and the Concertpedia as well (for you Five Horizons and Two Feet Thick fans, we've picked up where they've left off)

Thanks for posting, I was only in Missoula this tour but the band sounded as good as ever, the show had super good flow and Glen and Lukas coming out for the encore was really good. Glen on Smile was fantastic and worth the honorable mention! Was amazed I got to hear that one live.

Good call on the Aug 29 Wrigley Even Flow. Definitely the standout performance of that song from the tour. Ed challenged Mike to be better than ever before they started and I think Mike may have accomplished that. I was part of the lucky group that got the behind the head solo right in our face 🫠

I hope Eddie's tearful tribute to Chris Cornell in Fenway N1 is in the top 10.

Of the shows I went to this year these are my top moments in no particular order. Not trying to hijack

    - Vegas 1 - first four songs, but specifically hard to imagine. When the song starts, the reaction it got, made it feel like for everyone in that building it was worth the travel to Vegas to get that song. Ed puts his head down once the second half chords start, crowd cheers like crazy…I got goosebumps in that moment that carried over into the second half of Black. Followed by good evening and then Hail Hail which had disappeared for a bit.
Also “this setlist was written at 4 in the morning, I hope you like it. Breakerfall out of no where mid-set. Best version of Setting Sun

    - Seattle 1 - Watchtower and Yellow Wing. It was very obvious how much this show meant to Eddie in Seattle. Man of the Hour.
    - Seattle 2 - In My Tree - Upper - WFS - LBC - Porch was fire…then Hurt to open the encore, crazy. All the new songs these two nights in Seattle felt the best of the tour.

    - Philly 1 - Red Mosquito and Breath. Insane. Wild.
    - Philly 2 - Alone and Rats. The way Eddie intro’d Alone, you thought something off Ten, but nooope. My first Alone since 2006. Rats, forget the request…that version was fucking KILLER.

    - MSG1 - Ed’s rant about bullies was fucking classic Eddie.  Indifference, finally!
    - MSG2 - Garden to open, although a repeat opener on the tour was the right move. Never opened with Garden at the Garden. Rearview Mirror and Jeremy were out of control. Leash.

Baltimore - the show that Eddie tagged Black with Black. Can’t Keep finally after all the speculation.

If I had to guess, I would say Brain of J, Breath, or possibly even Last Exit - BOJ as the 4th song of the night suggested to me that we were in for something special, and each of the last two I mentioned seemed to lift the night impossibly higher.

  • I forgot to mention Chloe/Crown for Philly 1. I remember when they started it, the song was so far off my radar in that moment that it solidified how incredible the show we were getting/got was

Curious as to what it is. Top 25 should be on the way within an hour or so

That is an awesome list.  Thank you for taking the time to put it together.

I am grateful to have been at Ohana to see 3 of the Top 10 moments :rock_on:

Pearl Jam at Ohana 2024 was easily one of the best concert experiences of my life.
Can't wait for the next time...2025 perhaps?  :prayer:

The best part of Setting Sun at Vancouver 1 was watching all the people who tried to sneak out early during YL scamper back into the arena when they realized it wasn’t the closer 🤣.
The moan of mild disappointment when it was clear night 1 wouldn’t be a full Dark Matter show was moaned even louder at Vancouver 2 when Ed said they were playing a song never played before. When the first notes of Got To Give were played instead of the much anticipated Waiting For Stevie some people were absolutely beside themselves. The man beside me was still in total despair as we left the show 😂. Little did everyone know Got To Give would be the rarest of the new songs and a real gift to behold.

I thought the performances were really good, actually. Regardless, they are important moments and probably the biggest talking points from this tour

Good thing you won't have to.  OTOTO
  • What I appreciated the most about Gremmie and Whale Song was the band digging out some obscure songs.  There weren't many unexpected songs played on the whole tour.
