I remember with verified fan in the near past, Ticketmaster said it was using an algorithm to filter out accounts they felt belonged to scalpers and they were basing it in part on how many tickets you were buying and selling.
I’m wondering if there is a similar filter running in the background of this lottery that might be filtering out fans who tour a lot and also buy and sell a lot of tickets for the purpose of upgrading to better seats. While well intentioned, the filter might be having the unanticipated consequence of black listing real fans who f5 and upgrade repeatedly. Which is not fair… especially if they don’t announce this activity might get you shutout.
So you're saying me upgrading my Wrigley seats and posting on F2F my old ones may have had a negative effect because I was seeking aisle seats vs. sitting directly in the middle of a row. Just awesome.
Yes… but not really. I think you have to be really working the ticket machine to trigger it. A few sales here and there wouldn’t set off any alarms. I thinking you need to have dozens of transactions. Which someone here could have if they are doing many shows and regularly upgrading their seats.

Thanks - yep... I can tell you this if I'm indeed shut out on all shows I chose, I'm using a new email address
or you can come to terms and realize you're the only one who can forgive yourself oh yeah... makes much more sense to live in the present tense...
Whew. Read through 8 pages of posts since I went offline yesterday.
For those asking about when we get seat assignments. For the first leg of DM tour, I received seat assignment emails 2 to 4 days after receiving the "you got tix" emails.

I doubt it, honestly. But if that's the case, I got hosed for F2F & sharing🤷♂️

Interesting theory. But I have been botted to the point where I couldn't log on to TM using my wifi or my cell for quite a while. I wasn't able to log on to TM using my cell service for almost a month recently. And I did pretty well in this lottery. I am going to be very careful with F2F now that I am out of TM jail. I also just got a new modem from my cable company (unrelated to this issue) so I have a new IP address. Hopefully, that sets my slate clean with TM.

Not sure about this one. I traded up multiple times through F2F in Vegas this year. I drew for ATL N1 &N2, Nashville N2 and Raleigh N1 &N2 for 2025.

Unless there's going to be a magical early afternoon run of cities - which doesn't seem possible - looks like those unconfirmed emails will be coming out. It takes them hours/all day to cycle through cities.

I don't think that plays into it. I got Verified Fan for Foo Fighters, Springsteen and TSwift over the last year. Got all those codes and went to concerts - I think I sold one of my 3 FF tickets. I transferred the TSwift tickets to my wife, who used them.
I've done Ten Club for 15ish years, I've always gotten picked for every show I've requested (I got GA for both Wrigley shows last year).
I put in for Pittsburgh - so far, I've heard nothing. (So, I assume I'm out).
My guess is that the number of requestors is JUST high enough vs number of awarded tickets to make a random selection seem like something else. If it's something like 3:1, you'll get enough people on the 1 side (like me) that have always gotten their requests AND people that always end up on the other side of the equation.

Again… I wasn’t suggestion merely selling one ticket or a few tickets would get you banned. Ticketmaster knows people will occasionally need to sell their seats. It’s very high volume buyers and sellers. This was disclosed by Ticketmaster for verified fan.

Yeah… he’s definitely the master upgrader here. So I can’t explain his success. Just a theory I’m throwing out there because Ticketmaster has already admitted they did it for verified fan.

Doubtful. I probably sold 6 pairs of tickets on F2F while trying to get better seats for N1 & N2 Seattle earlier this year, and I still got N1 & N2 for Nashville this time around. The terms of the 10C presale said that it didnt matter what date or time you entered the lottery. Its just random.

My account was recently flagged as a bot, and while I don't F5 a lot, I do buy a fair amount of events for personal use, and rarely post anything for sale. They stopped me from buying MCR tix in the queue, but I can buy them now. I had to send them an email with my info, including my IP address and answer a questionnaire: Nothing I do corresponds to these flags.
Have you read and understood the Ticketmaster/Live Nation Terms of Use?
What show(s) were you interested in? r
Were you informed of any ticket limits when you were looking at or making ticket selections?
Please estimate how many computers (including virtual machines) access the Internet through this IP address.
Over the last year have you used multiple browser tabs to access the Ticketmaster/LiveNation prior to getting blocked?
Over the last year have you used accounts other than the account above to purchase tickets on the Ticketmaster/LiveNation website?
Are you using any software to automatically fill out web form fields and/or automate web submissions?
Over the last year have you ever switched or tried to switch IP addresses to avoid a block?
Anyone have a clue on how the artist presale actually works? I put my name in - do they only choose certain email addresses and you'll be notified via email? Or does everyone who entered have a chance with that email address to log on and try?
or you can come to terms and realize you're the only one who can forgive yourself oh yeah... makes much more sense to live in the present tense...
I'll still find tix on F2F later, but it stings a little getting shutout when I only selected Nashville N2. Still haven't received the "unfulfilled" email yet though. 🙂
Just got another confirmation email so I thought it was one of the shows I didn't get from yesterday, but it was for the commemorative tickets, which I'm sure means they are wrapping this up.

For those asking about when we get seat assignments. For the first leg of DM tour, I received seat assignment emails 2 to 4 days after receiving the "you got tix" emails.

High demand show factor aside, since the switch to TM I'm batting .500 which is quite generous for any lottery system I guess.
