Yeah there's one at Transfer Food Hall -- nice little tap room.

I’m nervously reading news reports about air traffic controller shortages at airports in NY and NJ.  And now United Airlines, which were flying,  is warning people about delays and cancellations.  I just read an article saying United is canceling 10% of their flights daily right now.  I guess I will look on the bright side and be happy there’s a 90% chance we’ll be ok.  😭 😂

May just have to be ready to drive the day of the flight if necessary.

Any advice on buying tickets for Caps/Canes on Monday night?  Worth it to wait to see if prices drop a bit for better seats?
I’m waiting until Monday to purchase tickets.

Newark Airport flight cancellations continue amid air traffic controller shortage

Hundreds of flights were canceled or delayed at Newark Liberty International Airport over the weekend and again on Monday as shortages of air traffic controllers persists, causing flight disruptions at one of the nation’s busiest airports.

As of 7 a.m. Monday, 73 flights had been canceled and 22 more delayed out of Newark Liberty. On Sunday, there were 141 cancellations and 436 delays, according to FlightAware.com.

United Airlines announced on Friday the elimination of nearly three dozen round-trip flights from its daily schedule in and out of Newark Airport due to continuing air traffic control staffing issue.

The airline also cited the technological problems that snarled airport operations last week, which included a telecommunications outage.

United is Newark Airport‘s largest carrier. Cutting 35 flights means slashing about 10% of its daily agenda at the airport, where the airline flies an average of 328 flights a day.

On Saturday, Gov. Phil Murphy blasted the recent rash of flight delays at Newark, calling the disruptions “completely and utterly unacceptable” and advocating for a reversal in staffing declines at the Federal Aviation Administration.

United is suggesting people rebook at another airport. But when you look at their website it also says JFK and LaGuardia are affected and Philly has no direct flights.  So…

It will be interesting to see if they extend these warnings beyond today.

Its out of the way but Interstate 81 is a super easy ride, I used it a few weeks ago coming back from Baltimore to avoid DC/Richmond area (specifically DC)

I'll have to look it up because of course I'm unfamiliar with any of these roads.

Are there any recommendations for restaurants in Raleigh? Looking for any great BBQ places or regular eateries.
    BBQ
If you're looking for old school classic BBQ, Ole Time BBQ is close to the venue and is outstanding. My favorite is Clyde Cooper's downtown. Both will get you right.
If you're looking for a more modern take on BBQ, Long Leaf Swine is pretty good. Not a fan of The Pit but it's pretty popular.

    Southern Soul Food
Big Eds, State Farmers Market Restaurant. Beasleys if looking for something more modern.

    Seafood
St Roch's downtown is awesome. Kinduva creole joint with upscale cocktails, raw oysters. For traditional calabash style fried seafood, the Farmers Market Seafood Restaurant is a 10.

    International
I posted this somewhere here already, buried deep in the history, but that intersection of Chatham and Maynard has a few dozen of the best little restaurants in the city: Jamaican, multiple regions of china, Himalayan, el Salvadorian, Iraqi bakery, many different regional Indian restaurants, etc.

If looking for something more specific lmk -- I know the area and food scene very well.
I'm staying at the Marriott Courtyard Raleigh Cary Crossing and there are a few spots near by that I was wondering if they'll be worth the walk.  Any help/advice would be awesome.  Thank you

I’m coming to N2. This will be my first show.

Best tips to make sure I get a poster? Planning on checking into my hotel at 3 and heading over to the arena right after.

Is there a spot people are going post show on Tuesday? Staying at the Doubletree Midtown about 20 minutes from the arena.

That's close to where I live! I haven't been to Tenko but the others are all good -- I mean, you're not going to be blown away but solid, clean restaurants with good menus. The first two are very American pub food type joints -- burger and a beer. Seol Grille is my fave of the others.

If you're looking to venture just a little further away there are some local gems -- Thai Villa is fantastic. Shiny Diner is a great breakfast or lunch spot. There are some amazing taco trucks down Buck Jones road, with the best one located at the Little Sue Mini Mart. Victorio is another good one.

Also the Grand Asia Market has a little hot line and restaurant inside that is VERY good.

You're close to Cookout, which is a southern fast food joint you may not have had, depending where y'all are coming in from. It's worth the experience. Great shakes, burgers, sides. Also you've got a Waffle House nearby for late night grub or breakfast.

Anyone have an extra single GA for night 2? I have a pair in 125 for trade. Have friends that I would really like to spend the day in line with.

Bru’s right next to the venue. It’s a popular pregame place for shows and games.

As soon as you're settled, head over right the line to get in. Doors should be at 6 or 6:30. You should be able to snag a poster.

Most people's plans are scattered, but the pools at Ramada & Four Points should be friendly - its all PJ fans lol.

Unfortunately no. The venue is in a part of town that doesn't really have a lot going on at night. You've got to go to Hillsborough Street, Glenwood South, or downtown for post-show drinks.
