The downloading process is so clunky... I have 26 of the 28 tracks... I'll figure it out but good grief.

I don't understand why we move forward in time but technology moves backwards. Is there truly no way to download all the tracks of a show as a zip file? Also, why can't PJ/Nugs do what Bandcamp does, and give you immediate access to a digital file, at least MP3, with a CD purchase? If I recall correctly, PJ did do this with the 2003 bootlegs. 20 some years later we can't do those things anymore.

Just curious why you just can't rip the CD when you get it and you will have both.
    That's what I do.
    I don’t have any equipment.
I also have no music player of any kind: no cd player, no blu-ray, no turntable. Life circumstances dictated minimalism in every way.
I'm hoping to buy cd player or something for my birthday.
Then why buy both if minimalistic.. no one needs a CD anymore
I like getting the cd of shows I went to.

Edit - Disregard - I found the Pittsburgh CDs by using the Search function. Weird they are not on the main CD Bootleg page.

I consider myself a minimalist, but I always buy the physical format (CD) of the PJ shows I've been to.  I never download them if I'm buying the CD.

He just had to talk about Chelios in Philly too. Guy laid an all-time cheap shot on Brian Propp and of course is still hated in Philadelphia. Like, you don't even know what happened ED.

To say that N2 was an “average show” is blasphemy. N1 sounds better on bootleg but man N2 had me in my feels all day yesterday. Probably the best version of Faithful post-Covid, a great and heavy Insignificance (minus Mike fucking up the first verse), Comes Then Goes tag (but the worst place for wishlist ever…it’s always in the worst spot), Hunger Strike crowd reaction, best Setting Sun since May 2024, and then little wing to cap off…chefs kiss. This was also one of the few shows I wanted to hear Ed’s talking again on bootleg, that show meant a lot to them. 3 hours on stage with the talking

That said, I have listened to Sleight of Hand, Severed Hand, Upper Hand, Grievance, and Daughter/Its Ok….My City of Ruins, Man of the Hours, and Comatose non-stop from N1

    LOLOL.

I'm pretty sure he was on the ice for Lemieux's famous GWG in Game 1 of that Finals so he's got that going for him too :)

Also, just to throw my support behind the physical CD + digital download folks, I also do both. I have the physical releases of every show I've been to (minus the 05/06 tours where you HAD to download them and, obviously, anything pre-2000) so I like keep buying the physical copies. And, maybe it's just me, but I always have more bootleg codes than I can use so I just burn those to get the downloads for free.

I was there, and have listened to it again... 🤷🏼‍♂️

This may be a hot take, but I don't care for the "new" version of faithful since the change of key to it.

I'm totally fine with the talking, but I think there only ended up being one more song performed from night one (I could be wrong about that), I'd expect a little more than that for a longer show

I'll revisit night one a ton.  Night two, not so much

It s funny because I have zero fomo missing night two.   Setlist was ok, nothing spectacular.   Especially for a “tour” closer.

Pittsburgh had a special occasion feel that I haven't felt from the band since 2018. Sure there could have been deeper cuts, but I'll take Hunger Strike, Little Wing and the first ever Comes Then Goes tag.

Yeah, I don't know if it can possibly come across on the bootleg (clearly not) but N2 definitely had an incredible vibe - as if everyone knew we weren't going to be doing this again for some time. The band knew it and the fans knew it and everyone just seemed really grateful to be there.

So… if you’re going to buy one Pittsburgh bootleg is it night 1 or night 2?

Easily night one.  Take away hunger strike and night two had a very pedestrian setlist than never felt cohesive.  Yeah the crowd was great on night two, but I don't get everything else being said about it

I found Nothingman sandwiched between 3 Ten songs out of place.

I'm the last person to ask to choose between N1 & N2. It’s not just the obvious; my vantage point was entirely different. N1 I was in the pit & N2 I was much farther in a seat. Different ways to experience a show. But I love N2. Made me feel a whole bunch of feelings in quick succession. Many tears were shed as well.

It wasn't that it was between songs from ten.  It was just out of place period.  They opened with garden and I thought oh boy they aren't fuckin around tonight.  Then the intro for nothingman hit and it sucked the air out of the room

Like you I have personal reasons for loving N1. Whenever I hear Footsteps on the bootleg I will look over at the harmonica and feel awed that I have it. But I absolutely loved the setlist for N2. Both of those shows were magical in their own ways. But I feel that way about most of the shows I saw on this tour.

N1 over N2 for me but Future Days (me and my wife's first dance) into Hunger Strike was special.

This was my third show where I’ve seen Nothingman in the #2 spot. I hate it there really.  I would have much rather preferred they just did Garden into Deep.
