Getting ready to head back to my birthplace from Virginia.  Will be listening to 2006 and 2013 boots on the way up, which I'm super excited about.  Will be losing my mind in section 103 tomorrow!

Any truth to the rumor of an earlier start time being circulated?

I was informed about the earlier start time of 8:15. Just a heads up. Not sure why but hopefully it means a longer show!
Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked... in the head... with an iron boot? Of course you don't, no one does. It never happens. Sorry, Ted, that's a dumb question... skip that.

I thought it was because of curfew 🙁

The venue website says the start time is 7:30 pm, which I imagine is when the opening band will take the stage (it was the same time for the opening band in Nashville and in Raleigh). If that's the case, I can't see how PJ will start at 8:15 because the opening band plays for about 40 minutes if I recall correctly...

It's because they plan to play Binaural start to finish and they need more time. Just kidding. Curfew makes sense.

Curfew like the venue demands everyone out by a certain time or it's like a $10k/minute fine or curfew like a public safety ordinance in the area?  Most of the shows have been ending around 11 with the 8:45 start time.

Anyone requesting you are for night one needs to sell their tickets
I love You Are, but I don’t have a real thread request for it for any of these Pitt shows. I actually admire your defiance against it lol. You’re sticking to your guns and I respect that. With that said, please PJ, play You Are night 1 or 2 in the Steel City. 😬
You Are is a kickass tune...Matt's three songs on RA (Cropduster/You Are/Get Right) are killers

Again... just what I was informed. Not 100% sure it sticks, but this is what I was told for the start times. Just don't want people to miss the band as the same thing happened to me at Alpine Valley in 2003 as they went on earlier and I was walking down the massive hill at Alpine double fisting beers while they were playing "Sometimes".

    Doors: 6:30pm
Teen Jesus & The Jean Teasers: 7pm

Flying to Pittsburgh today for Friday’s show and just realized I accidentally booked my return flight for Monday when I was supposed to come back Sunday, which is the perfect excuse to catch both shows.

I’m going to be solo on Sunday, so if anyone has a single ticket for n2 they’re looking to sell, please message me. Might be open to buying a pair depending on price.

I’m staying downtown so I can meet in person and will also buy you a beer or two before the show or inside PPG.

Someone in the Pittsburgh Facebook group posted an email they received with that info. But who it was from was blacked out so no idea who the source is

Wheels up around 730 from Chicago to Pittsburgh its a quick trip but such is life.  Hope for a rocking set and a better crowd than Wrigley.  My section at Wrigley was awful.  I cannot understand folks that want to sit through the show but most folks in the upper deck at Wrigley sat the whole time.

I really wish this at the Igloo.
