Brooklyn recs - Kings Theatre

Heading down here for a show in February. Last time I was in that area I remember it being more residential but I could be wrong. Just looking for recs on where I should stay and if there's enough to do around there before the show. Typically shows have been in Williamsburg and I just stay there. Was hoping to poll the locals. TIA

    You can eat and stuff there.  Not a great sight seeing area.  There is a home depot nearby, lol!

    Lol...the house needs some rewiring so maybe I'll take a preshow class
