Sydney 1 (21/11/24) Request - Brain Of J

On Thursday (21/11/24) I will be taking my big brother to the show, some 21 years after he took his annoying pest of a little brother to his first Pearl Jam concert when he was too little to go alone. Can I request a shout out from Sam Beamish, thanking his big brother Tom Beamish, for always having been such a loving, kind, and most importantly forgiving big brother. 

If I could push the favour even more and request Brain of J? This is a special song for me as it was the first Pearl Jam song I ever heard. I was walking past my big brother’s room in 1998, and was immediately transfixed with what I could hear within. I opened the door and asked “What is THIS?”  He replied “Pearl Jam”, and I’ve been unashamedly obsessed with their music ever since.

I often run possible set lists through my mind for upcoming shows, ‘maybe they could open with this or that’, ‘this song would work in the encore’ etc etc…I did have a Brain of J epiphany for Sydney about 4th or 5th song into set 1, after Corduroy and Go.
