Tom Petty makes fun of Eddie's suitcase?

OK so I need some help, Ten Clubbers... I posted this on a Tom Petty facebook page and no one remembered it, hoping this crowd can help....

I was talking with a friend about Eddie Vedder and that tweed suitcase he hauls around sometimes. I told him that I saw an interview with Vedder where he told the story of playing at Bob Dylan tribute show with Petty, and how when Eddie walked in with that suitcase, Petty quips "and now Eddie Vedder will perform his ventriloquist act!"

I know I heard this at least 15 years ago, and I thought it was in the Tom Petty "Running Down a Dream" doc but somehow it isn't... 

Do I have the details right? Does anyone know where I can find this clip on the Internet somewhere? Is it from something else?  Help!!

    I remember hearing this story, I believe it was at one of the Bridge School shows.

    You’re right, it could have been the Gorge. It was one of the two, I think.

    I have that bootleg set, I will have to listen to that... Just have to find a CD player...
