The wife loves elephants, we were there, and the poster has her birthday on it. At least she isn't mad at me for buying this one :)
That's a triple win!  Awesome poster and I know you love that green color

My wife was annoyed at all of the posters that I bought already, since we currently don't have a poster display area.

But Dr J is gonna happen!  We weren't at that show, but we are from Philly, and that poster is simply amazing.  A must buy IMO.
Agreed on Dr J, I'll be looking out for that one too.

How many Boston and other non Philly 2 posters are left from this run that haven't been posted? Ohana, of course. Others?
Only 1 Boston left. I was suprised they put up the one yesterday cause there were still APs available on the artist website i thought they waited until the artist sold out before listing posters. Ohana night 1 ap hasnt sold out either but since that apparently doesnt matter anymore, they will probabaly skip philly2 and van orton wrigley and put up ohana 1.
It seems they wait a bit for the APs to sell out, but it's capped at some timeframe. It has been a month, as that AP in particular went on sale 9/18 and I didn't pull the trigger due to the shipping costs from Poland (I think?).

  • Thanks for the responses. Seems like we're looking at next week for Dr J. But I'll see everyone tomorrow at 10 just in case :)

Have we seen the Ames Fenway yet?
    Nope... no Barrett yet either.
Today's was my favorite, but I will be powerless to ignore the awesome callbacks Ames worked into theirs.
My favorite was the Barrett, probably because none of them blew me away, and I like that it's a cool poster to hang for Halloween. The Ames had great callbacks, for sure - I grabbed a copy of that & the OB at the show, but didn't bother w/ the others.

The Danger has great detail, but feels like every other Daniel Danger poster out there...  there's a cool story behind it & all, it just didn't do much for me.

Back to not being blown away - I already have The Catch and Williams '18 variant framed & hanging at the house - I can't see displaying any of these 5 new ones, (again... outside of the Barrett print at Halloween time).

Pretty sure there's 2 left for Boston: The Ames & Barrett (Unless I missed one)
My bad i forgot about Barrett, probably because the AP edition i ordered from him is missing in action. Word is he started shipping them out but i haven’t received any notification from him
I would have loved to get the Barrett AP in time for Halloween, but alas... at this point I'll be happy just to get it.
    Just got shipping notification today

Tough to sell out when it’s 50$ shipping to the USA even tho the AP poster is only 80$ .. 130$ for it isn’t bad but ppl must feel when 50$ of it is for shipping .. a big no thank you.

Not a fan of the Dr. J. Looks like a giant sticker. That’s just me. Might give mine away or trade it. I was at both Philly. Like the orange lizard better.

Agree. I do like it but it does look like a sticker or something off with it. I was at both Philly also and grabbed the artist edition of the lizard. Really like that one (possibly the better show also IMO).

Don’t understand why the Danger isn’t more popular. Or maybe it is and there were more printed due to the ballpark show. For me, it’s one of the best in a while and up there as a favorite. Maybe I’m just a fan of Danger’s work but it is awesome artwork, ties to the city with a cool story, and looks great in person.

He’s an amazing artist, but for me, it felt redundant, at least considering the two Boston Puscifer prints he did in April:

He also did some Foo Fighters Fenway posters a while back that are killer, but also of a similarly apocalyptic theme… I think he’s beating a dead horse with the mass destruction in every poster.
